25 years

Whoop! Whoop! Today we celebrate 25 years of being in business.

We wanted to say a huge
' T H A N K Y O U '
for your support over the years and throughout these challenging times.

We thought we would share a little of our journey with you...

‘Don’t do it’ they said.  ‘Most partnerships fail within a year…and most businesses fail in two’.  They said.  Thankfully, in our case 'they' were wrong.  We do now finish each other’s sentences and have always had a shared passion for design but it’s probably the shared vision, focus and determination that has seen us through the ups and downs of the 25 years.  We acknowledge the need to change, to listen and never take anything for granted.  Mostly, our days are good, (mostly fuelled by tea and the occasional Tunnocks Teacake) and the years have been predominantly filled with laughter.  From studying Textile Design at The Nottingham Trent University, dabbling with lecturing, having a range of scarves and wraps and navigating the couture fashion industry Cinnamon Aitch began life juggling Birmingham with London & Paris.  But the love of stitch and design soon found its way into the wonderful world of greetings cards.  At this point we never looked back.  Commercial restraints soon saw stitch evolve into glue but a passion for surface, texture, colour and design always nods to the textile design roots of the business. 
 
We are lucky enough to work in a fantastic industry and still have customers today that have been with us from the start.  Thank you!  We have met amazing people along the way and made some great friends within the industry. 

We always aim to provide a beautiful product alongside an efficient yet friendly service which is supported by our great small team.  We can hardly believe we have reached this milestone (although the grey hairs are abundant!) and as our product evolves into gifts our story continues…

All that remains is to thank everyone who buys a Cinnamon Aitch card and everyone who helps keep our business going, making the magic happen.  It really means so much!
